Description

Bethesda quilters is a Montgomery County, Md quilters' guild of about 35 people. The guild sponsors speakers on a wide range of quilting topics and occasional active workshops. The group also makes and donates quilts to wounded warriors and local hospital nurseries, placemats to Wheels on Meals, dog beds for the nearby pet shelter and other projects as the need arises.It is a supportive group of folks who enjoy sharing their fabric art and getting together. Meetings are generally on the second Tues. of each month at 1 pm with occasional Zoom sessions and changes due to holidays, library schedules or weather. The group hopes to resume mounting a quilt show every other year as the world reopens.
